Yup. The Phoebe Bridgers album is infinitely more captivating and enjoyable than the Clairo album, which puts me to sleep when I listen to it.

Blink works because, worst case scenario, they’re playing sloppy pop punk and you get a solid number of singalongs (unless they only play new stuff, then yeesh!). Best case scenario, which is achievable, they sound better than the band does now!

I’d never pick a band that allows for the cover band to noodle or fuck around or add unnecessary solos to songs
