The Gallagher brothers feud is more interesting to me than their music if I had to be honest.

 

This is one of those opinions I agree with in sentiment, but probably not practicality if I look at the bands I listen to. I'd say that number is probably close to 66% or 75%.

it isn’t really a rivalry. all of the blur people and oasis people like each other now. i could care less about 30 year old tabloid shit lol. blur’s music is just boring. it’s fine.

the “oasis’ music all sounds the same” is a clear indication of someone who has only ever listened to two oasis albums

 

it’s a bit of a bummer their music is so boring, actually, because Coxon in his solo stuff is one of the more interesting guitarists of that scene

lol I am glad to have contributed to this one. I am the same, I don't even care about the rivalry anymore, but that doesn't mean we have to stop comparing the two!

"Coffee & TV" is great, but I just cannot get into any of their albums like I can with Oasis. It's not even close for me.

I am going to listen to both "Battle" and "Tender" at least 3 or 4 times each today.

One of the more peculiar things is that these Blur songs are highly revered despite 7+ minute track lengths, whereas "Magic Pie", "D'you Know What I Mean", "Fade In-Out" are commonly blasted as being "bloated" and "overlong". Lol
