You see the unfortunate issue with that is that the Blink 182ers do, actually like them

Limp Bizkit were a talented band who unfortunately hitched their wagon to a horribly untalented front man.

That said, I can still get down with "Re-Arranged"

Tom Delong is both barely a guitarist AND has some great, memorable riffs. If you're pretending "Stay Together for the Kids" and "Dammit" aren't classic guitar riffs in an almost 70s sense, you're fooling yourself.

That frontman made them a lot of money so I would guess they have no regrets lol

Mark and Tom were good songwriters and the blink hate has maybe swung further than they deserve (strictly in terms of their music from 94-03). Of course they're bad at playing their instruments, they're a "punk" band, but the songs themselves are pretty good and especially with Jerry Finn's production hold up really well. A lot of the stuff on Dude Ranch/Enema/TOYPAJ is solid bubblegum pop punk and not terribly afar from what the Ramones and other more respected pop punk bands after them were doing.

As an indifferent spectator with no nostalgic connection, the warped tour pop punk scene is similar to the glam/hair metal scene - it was a short but sweet run of mainstream and underground successes and was an awesome time for the fans of the genre but in retrospect, ain't great (imo)

Definitely. I didn’t fuck with Digimon back then (Pokemon die-hard) but even I bought the VHS of the movie.

God bless Mark Hoppus but I hope I never have to hear him sing ever again.

My point is, nobody makes fun of their favorite band more than Blink fans. That or Metallica fans.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

Phish fans are either the most sanctimonious pieces of shit or incredibly self-deprecating and self-aware. Rarely in the middle.

since apparently I need to clarify: I'm aware that statement isn't actually that funny since somehow i'm autistic yet can clock hyperbole better than everybody who decided to dunk on me for that.

anyway, Hyper Groove Brutality by Vomit Remnants isn't that bad!

No pile of cash can keep you from regretting rhyming "here" with "here".
