Secretly, this is the real bad opinion going on right now.

Ain't nothing wrong with a little adult contemporary.

 

I love plenty of the genre, TBS is no good at it

 

Just chiming in to say I stan John Nolan and with absolutely no proof I feel that him being in tbs is blocking my straylight run reunion so they need to take a backseat.

 

They made it pretty clear they broke up because they simply couldn't afford to keep the band going, so theoretically with TBS money... It may be possible again

 

With this journalistic news I am now demanding that tbs have straylight open for them on tour and am on a #boycott until this happens.

I don't foresee Michelle getting back into music fully. Pretty sure she has like a normal person job and all.

 

i could see john and shaun do double sets though, have straylight do a 30-40 minute set, could be neat! when they reunited in 2010 and played those 3 shows before self-titled they played by me and they played prom night, people got into it but granted that's their most known song but it was still cool to hear and see

 

The One is one of the most generic songs I've ever heard. It could legitimately be written by any band in the universe it lacks personality.

 

I love the record, a lot of it is catchy as fuck, but I skip The One almost every time.

I'd love to see them be heavier (and in a complete dream world bring Fred back) but I think this album nails what it is going for and is very realistic for them to have continued relevance.

 

“The One” rules. That sort of arena-influenced song is in retrospect such an obvious, perfect evolution for a band with such anthemic, singalong punk roots.

 

It's a bad song.

 

That Miley Cyrus “Used To Be Young” song truly, truly sucks.
