Glow on is boring and blink is a bad band lacking compelling hooks

I low key hate festivals with multiple stages because they just devolve in my mind into a bunch of cool bands fighting for my love.

 

Tried to get into Turnstile again last night. Got to track 7 of Glow On and thought “yeah I’d like to listen to something else now” so I did

If I was an opener for a much bigger act then my entire set would be covers of their most famous songs

I think much of the crowd would find it deeply, irrationally upsetting, others would unironically love it, and some would surely find the humor in it. And I would be doing it for all of their sakes, simultaneously

 

I absolutely cannot stand The Arctic Monkeys. Alex Turner's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

 

Blink-182 fans are the most insufferable fanbase in human history.

There are plenty of worse fanbases, it's just that all the worst blink fans happen to be on this site

 

maybe im just an organization nut but i really hate when artists release deluxe albums on spotify, when the original record is already established in the app, cluttering the profile with two albums that are exactly the same with the only difference being 3 or 4 songs at the end. i would much rather they be categorized in an EP like "colourmeinkindness Deluxe Aniversary Songs" or something

 

Well, what usually happens is the deluxe version eventually replaces the standard outright. Whether you think that's better will vary.

 

Including the not yet released re-recording, there are 4 different versions of Four Year Strong’s Enemy of The World on Apple Music. It sucks!

 

I also hate when artists release singles that don't make it onto an album for that reason. Makes the discography look like shit so half the time I just don't get them

 

I would love it if Apple Music would sort artists' music in your library the same way they do on their app (I.e. Albums, Singles/EPs, Compilations)

Big fan of Paramore but the whole "get the audience to sing the problematic line we wrote" thing is lame cop-out nonsense and maybe the most annoying possible option, made worse by everyone patting them on the back for their cleverness. (Also not helped by the "oh by the way a bunch of you said a bad word!" gotcha banter addition.) I respected them more when they just didn't play it.
