This isn't totally the point but I wanted to say:

People make this claim re: age of fans of artists like Taylor but I think that's...not really true anymore? I mean, if you've been a fan of hers since the start, that was 16 years ago haha. Even if not, a lot of people have been fans for over a decade at this point. While yes, she does have young fans and they may contribute to the toxic side of her fanbase, I don't think saying a lot of her fans are young is accurate.

 

Thought most of her fans are millennials now.

I really like the new Pinegrove album, 11:11. Given all outside factors and their super tepid previous album Marigold, I thought they would probably just fade out, but for me this scratches the itch perfectly between The Weakerthans' Left & Leaving and The Hotelier's Goodness

Anyways there's not really anywhere else on this website to say that

 

Marigold has "Endless", one of the best songs any artist has released in the 2020s so far.
