I mean it's ok to admit ur a poser who basically lacks a fundamental understanding of how real music works, no worries. u probably listen to country and rap or something. at the end of the day maynard is a genius among an industry of fools, and the beatles will never be surpassed by anyone (except maybe tool, of course). Not that it matters. Good music ended 1/1/2000, 12:00 am.

I hadn't watched it until this year and all my friends were bothered by that for some reason. I told them it's probably exactly what I was expecting and that I'd enjoy it when I got around to it. It was and I did.

 

Nah, it's fucking great. Acting, story, cinematography, script, score - all fantastic. Not particularly relevant to a music thread though.

Although to relate it back to music, Thomas Newman's score for Shawshank is one of the greatest ever.
