using the bends as your benchmark for radiohead is like using Rev 9 as your benchmark for the beatles

They definitely have one album as good as Be Here Now, and no albums as good as Morning Glory. And no songs as good as like the top 5 Oasis songs. And Del is the reason for their best songs

 

The Beatles > Gorillaz > Radiohead > Blur > Oasis

 

So where does Shone factor into that equation

I at least know that Radiohead is "better" than Gorillaz, but I listen to Gorillaz much more although I love Radiohead too.

I'm out here thinking Gorillaz definitely are better, but it might be a generation thing haha

 

My biggest issue with Oasis is they didn't really expand their sound all that much over time. True, they were good at what they did, great even, but it wasn't a vast landscape of sounds. Blur changed a ton over time, went in many directions, maybe had more misses, but they nailed it most of the time.

This is definitely the most fun this thread has been in a long time. The Blur/Oasis rivalry always brings out the best in people.
