we talked about this earlier haha, but i agree on layla. that's about it though. his guitar playing with cream is kinda unreal.

They're probably all shitty people, but (the) Eagles have some bangers, man. I don't think their music deserves all the hate that it gets

 

I truly believe a lot of the current wave of people who say they hate the Eagles are just because of The Big Lebowski.

 

"Hotel California" is an annoying song, and "These Days" is good because Jackson Browne wrote it. That "Peaceful Easy Feeling" song is pretty good.

 

1971-1975 is a fantastic Best Of. Everything on there is good. Not too big on much post that, though.

"Hotel California" gave us Frank Ocean's "American Wedding," so it's a win overall.

 

Life in the Fast Lane is fun

 

"Hole in the World" is some all-time post 9/11 cheese. Terrible from top to bottom.

Jackson Browne wrote take it easy, except the line “it’s a girl my lord in a flatbed ford slowing down to take a lot at me” so I assume that’s what they mean

 

For a band everyone supposedly hates, we all seem to know an awful lot about the Eagles.
