I remember the first time I ever heard Nickelback when iIwas like 12 way before I knew about their rep I heard some song of theirs on a shitty comp and i yhoughtt it sounded so bad i felt like I was gonna have diahreah. That's why ppl should look yo me as a valid authority on music and in general

You know what band I never really knew much about and then realized they are GREAT? Jane's Addiction. Ritual de lo Habitual, holy shit

 

grunge is a bullshit marketing genre and most of those bands would be better contextualized in genres that mean something
