    She haunts the roads

Having said all that, I also don't understand a lot of the bile that's thrown towards the majority of 90's/00's pop rock. It was fine, guys. Seriously...

Well oasis even says its better so that might be part of the reason. I like it better.

I'm pretty indifferent to the original so I don't think my bar is super high or anything but the tragic cover is tragic. I guess it's good for if I want to fall into a deep deep sleep tho

Somehow my two childhood friends missed the boat on Wonderwall and didn't hear it until they were like 19. My friend discovered it and became obsessed and then played it for the other friend, and and when his voice came on OMG her FACE. I realize it's not as funny in post form but imagine someone bracing themselves to hear like Whitney Houston-esque vocals or something and then the whiplash they experience when they get Liam Gallagher lol

That's true. I typically skip it when either version comes up on my phone. If I had to listen to one id pick RA, and that's probably because for years at talent shows anyone with a guitar played the same oasis version.

    Every. Time. Damn.

I always preferred "Shes electric" off the album. Of the singles, champagne supernova never got as old as Wonderwall.

Man I'd be game for that. I swear every talent show I experience is some white guy with a guitar trying to strip down Britney's Toxic or a rap song thinking they're making it more ~meaningful lol

Good lord! I guess my talent show experience isn't all that bad after all! Perspective.

Having an opinion that they're music bad is absolutely fine, obviously. But I'm a big believer that any kind of art can't be either objectively good or bad. Everything hits everyone in a different way.

Now if you simply can't stand them, that's all good. More power to you, haha

But I like them quite a bit. It's fun and catchy.

    The rivalry is back on

Finally got around to giving this a good listen. I liked it more this listen than I've ever liked a Blur album, but still would take either of Oasis' first 3 albums!

Fair enough! Glad you took the time to see where I was coming from.

With all their other musical styles taken into account and the fact some of their lyrics have more substance, I don't mind the Woohoo song. To me just one of many ways that band found to be addictively catchy and get stuck in your head. TRACY JAAAAACKS (oo-ooh ooo-ooh)

I think Thousand Foot Krutch is worse than Nickelback and Daughtry.

If I never knew Scott Stapp was in Creed and someone said the name "Scott Stapp" to me I'd probably guess that he was in Creed
