Title is whatever but the album is good so it doesn’t matter to me haha

 

Title always seemed real creepy to me.

 

I copy and pasted the title into an open email so I could fix the formatting and almost sent

Had to search the title and was actually surprised that it wasn't a shitty metalcore record.

The Chronic doesn't have many good songs on it.

I don’t think it’s unpopular to say that Foo Fighters are a singles band, but I put an asterisk for the self-titled record. That’s a strong album front to back—the best thing they’ve ever done, and it’s not close.

 

I personally think the first album is good and shows potential. Then Color and the Shape and Nothing Left To Lose are outstanding albums. After that they have good to great songs scattered about the rest of their albums up till Wasting Light which was a great return to form. After WL they returned back to being boring. I do feel Nothing Left to Lose is highly underrated though.

 

The first one is just such a stellar, noisy mess--you can really hear Grohl looking around in a lot of directions trying to figure out how to be a songwriter, a singer, and a bandleader (even if there wasn't much a band to lead at that point). I don't think he's managed to recapture that album's spirit of cathartic adventure since.

It’s been variations on a theme, with occasional highlights here and there.

 

This is exactly what I think.

 

I like Two Worlds more than Tigers Jaw’s self-titled.

 

i think both those records are bad and their only good stuff is the last two

 

I’ve never thought any of their records differ in sound all that much, especially considering how much people here prefer the last two. But I also like Charmer the least so what do I know

 

I think that band is incredibly boring

 

they have a few very well written songs but as a whole their albums are boring. Much better picking individual tracks

A lot of bands are more influential than good

 

i hate the argument when people are like "but they were the first band that started this sound!" well other bands are better than them now so why should i care??? i see that a lot

 

i don't get the Phoebe Bridgers hype after a couple of listens
