Also every MTB album post Planet of Ice has been trash. But that's still 3 incredible albums from them and 3,5 from TAAS.

 

Omni is my second favorite MTB record but I get why people dislike it

 

Ironically I'd argue that OMNI might have 3 of the best songs they've ever written, namely My Time, Into the Mirror and the B-Side Broken China.

 

it's ok i need to start putting disclaimers on my jokes too i've noticed that

OMNI is their only good album. Everything else falls between “fine” and “bad”

@whitenblue88 entire taste is controversial and they know that

 

Planet Of Ice is fantastic. Menos El Oso is great too. Don't have much desire to return to the others though, especially their last three.

 

Menos El Oso disrespect is objectionable

 

Menos and Planet of Ice are in a whole other galaxy compared to OMNI.

But goddamn, does OMNI bring the sexual urges.

 

Shame, all of their records are fantastic except for the last two

 

I mean, outside of not being into much Topshelf/Tiny Engines emo and being an indie pop apologist, I don’t think it’s too controversial, even for this site.

I’d imagine I’ll have 4 of the consensus top 5 and 3 or 4 of this site’s top 5 on my AOTY list

I relistening to all the albums I liked this year to make a list and the indie pop and true emo are really blurring for me

Like Tennis is going on tour with Wild Ones, both albums I love, where does the emo start and the indie begin

I have no idea what the consensus albums for this year will even be outside of Brand New for sure (on this site)
