I will never understand the love for the Dangerous Summer. I mean I get why people like them, but I'll never get why they're are held in such high regard. War Paint is a pretty decent album but I'm not all in like so many people seem to be.

Haha no, I said after that "I'll never get why they are held in such high regard". I meant that I get why people like them, I don't get why people think they're anything special or "love" them.

 

I understood the difference between "like" and "love" lol

 

if you cant possibly fathom that leap from like to love then that's completely on you lol. i mean really if you know why people like a band why can you not imagine people loving said band? its actually easy as shit. people connect to their lyrics. those albums came out during important times in people's lives and they connected to them. this is music, not rocket science, it shouldn't be some grand mystery why people love a band that you admit you understand why people like

 

I don't get what's special about the Dangerous Summer, so I shared that feeling. They're a decent band, but nothing really stands out about them to me. Because I personally feel that way, I don't see what it is that other people find special about it. Doesn't mean there's not something there I'm missing, and I don't care if anyone else thinks they're the best band to walk the earth - I just don't understand it myself. I don't know what's so weird about that, I wasn't trying to offend anyone here.
