I don't like when band members are on the album cover

I don't know anyone who does. Except born to run. That's a good cover

    hmmm

I don't mind solo artists doing so for some reason. Bands should never do it.

    so much for them! Prestigious

never thought of london calling as a double album but i guess it is, i always thought of sandinista! as their double album since its really long but apparently that's their triple album

Ha, I really like the makeup song. Section 80 is great, though I probably prefer TPAB still.

Tell me what I missed Supporter

I definitely prefer Section.80 but pretty much accept that TPAB is the "better" album.

  11. I know this isn't the unpopular opinion on this site, but Travis Scott is garbage

  12. I think that's pretty popular here

If a song can't be given an incredible pop punk cover, it can be given an incredible classical string and/or piano cover.

Edit:or it could be a shitty song.

  14. Yeah definitely seems to be, I just had a friend say that Rodeo is on par with MBDTF earlier and started to wonder how many people think that

    Cap'n jazz is extremely overrated

I feel like they only get the overzealous praise they do because of their band roster. But bottom line is those dudes all went on to do much better things and Cap'n Jazz sounds exactly like an emo band of high schoolers. Talented sure, but still high schoolers

One hundred percent, haha. Plus, if I'm being honest, I'm not a huge fan of that style (although they do it a million times better than almost anyone else)

When I was a kid his greatest hits album was one of my most played albums. Along with Chronicles of Life and Death by Good Charlotte lol. Fogelberg is way too good for how unknown he's become.

I'd agree. Nether Lands, Souvenirs and The Innocent Age are three of the best albums of the era, imo. His curse was how good he was at picking hit singles. He always knew that the light-weight ballads would be huge, so that became what represented him, when he did so many things well.

I guess this isn't an unpopular opinion but this Chromatics song has almost the same exact guitarline as "Livin the Dream" by Million Dead lol

It's been a long time since I've listened to Nether Lands but I agree with The Innocent Age and Souvenirs. I think the Innocent Age was the perfect balance between the two sides of him as an artist.

I've always held Nether Lands as his masterpiece (and one of my all-time top 20 albums, period), but I totally understand someone siding with the encyclopedic run through every sound he had on The Innocent Age. It's just everything he can do.
