Section.80 is exceptional and I still listen to ADHD and Ronald Reagan Era and Rigamortus a lot

I can't listen to ADHD anymore (but I've discussed that before) but I still love it

It's just so crazy what they are able to do live with all the different song styles and energy with just the 4 of them, but yeah I can see how it's probably just a favorite of mine and not an all time great.

For my tastes, I'd put both of them above Bobbie and The Betas. This is the thread for me to say such things lol.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

How the fuck is Garth Brooks' Double Live or Bob Seger's Live Bullet not mentioned?

Oh man, didn't know Live Bullet was a double album. That is is great. Its actually hard to listen to some of the studio tracks because they are so much better live.

I mostly agree with this honestly.

Sign O is prolly my favorite Prince record ever too but it constantly changes

Agh, my bad. Not a double album.

Seger has too many good records to count. Not being on streaming is killing his legacy

There were a handful of posts so I won't quote any, but I think each Kendrick record is better than the last

I prefer listening to GKMC the most but TPAB is the best

I should start posting opinions that ARE actually unpopular but also that nobody on here cares about:

"Out Here on My Own" is easily the best song on the Fame soundtrack, not the title track, and should have won the Oscar

"Longer" is probably Dan Fogelberg's weakest single in his career and easily a bottom third song in his catalog

Donnie Van Zant gets far too much credit. All the good .38 Special songs are Don Barnes songs.
And Barnes getting treated like just the guitarist because his name isn't Van Zant means he gets too much credit for their guitar playing, when Jeff Carlisi is easily one of the best guitar players of that decade

Fairport Convention are really good, but the slavish worship of them is too much, since Sandy Denny and Richard Thompson (with Linda) both did better work solo.

    run away with me Platinum

makes sense that he wouldn't, Old Time Rock and Roll was already extremely "old man yells at cloud" and that was almost 40 years ago

Hah true. I always thought that song was a bit tongue in cheek though, especially given "Rock and Roll Never Forgets"
