Every Time I Die really should be considered with the likes of Converge, and The Dillinger Escape Plan with their importance to their genre.

I know they are popular, but I don't think I've heard them discussed in that pantheon yet.

(Also Low Teens is fucking blowing me away)

they're way better than norma jean and they may not have a jane doe but they have an extremely consistent discog without any record showing signs of slowing down or getting stale

 

I'd put Hot Damn alongside Jana Doe. Both of those albums are incredible

 

Yeah if you remove the qualifier of influence, I'd put them on a similar plane.

 

Seismograph is a great artist and their release is one of the best of the year and that's unpopular because I'm the only one talking about it!!!!!!

Yeah Norma Jean are solid just not on the level of ETID

 

Norma Jean are fantastic, last three records are all so good. Most of the ones before them aren't great though, outside of Redeemer. They definitely don't have the catalogue that ETID has

 

Ive seen a few people get hyped the last few times theyre about to release a record. I always try out at least a song or two and they never do anything for me. And their old stuff was straight rip off stuff.

 

there will be more people hyped when they decided to do a farewell tour. then announcement for a releases. It's kinda happening for Dillinger especially around here.

 

"Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste" is a dope song.

This is where someone pulls up the Hellfest 04 vid of that song with the full in singer. So funny

 

dillinger is alot better and more popular than them.
