Yeah exactly. Same with taking Seroquel for bipolar disorder. If I don't take it I'll have a mental breakdown every day until I die. You've seen my Twitter when I'm off my meds lol. Necessity breeds addiction

do you feel like it affects or dulls your personality? I've heard that a lot from people with various forms of clinical depression that the meds are unfavorable emotionally in other ways

Anyone who criticizes someone for smoking cigarettes, for any reasons, is a hypocrite unless they live a 100% self-sustained life in the forest somewhere eating food that they grew themselves, all while not harming any natural wildlife.

guys for real though we should all be growing our own food it aint that hard

i'm trying to get on that track in life myself.

we're literally getting upcharged at like triple market value for food that's been bleached, sprayed with carcinogenic fertilizers, grown with hormones and produced with GMOs. Even if you're not that worried about how terrible the FDA and DEA's regulations and inspection of the U.S. food industry are, you're still paying way more than you should for less fresh produce.

Honestly it improves my personality drastically. Seroquel helps me sleep also, I have severe insomnia and I've stayed up like 4 days in a row before, so I take it at night to sleep and the effect lasts 24 hours. It can make me a bit drowsy, but it definitely affects my personality positively. I used to take a different medicine, I can't remember the name but it was a purple pill, for depression specifically and it had a drastically negative affect on my personality and made me feel very dull and drowsy and unhappy. Just a matter of finding the right meds

My point is that, to an extent, everybody is a hypocrite on some level and it's ridiculous to criticize someone else for their life choices like smoking cigarettes, or drinking, etc....

either way we all continue to buy into a system that clearly doesn't have our health as an interest and clearly isn't regulated well enough.

also, they can now grow meat (like, literally progress muscle cells into a whole new leg muscle or whatever) from small harmless samples of animal tissue. As a person who has always had a meat-centric diet I would love it if there was a way to do so without harming or killing animals. Wouldn't freak me out at all to eat meat like that.

earlier i drew a distinction between the habit and the person doing the habit. i can think smoking cigs and drinking and doing dope are all horrible things to do without looking down on the person who does them. because i get it. ive done all those things

yo when i took seroquel i swear i slept for three months straight. i don't remember anything else from that period in time. antidepressants usually fuck bipolar patients up, it happened to me too

Right, that's what I meant in that people should criticize other people about those things unless they're harming someone else.

Yeah it's powerful. My doctor made the comparison of it being like bringing a cannon to a knife fight. I take Celexa too and that combo just works for me. Two weeks ago I tried stopping them because they've both caused a lot of weight gain, but the results were disastrous as evidenced in my well documented Twitter meltdown

yeah i was on celexa along with a mood stabilizer for years and it worked well. for some reason i stopped taking them like two years ago and i've pretty much been a mess on and off since then. hang in there

  24. I smoked cigs habitually for about four years and then went cold turkey around 21. I've had maybe 3-4 cigs since then while drunk and feeling invincible and each time I've been reminded of why I don't do it anymore. Can't get the taste out of my mouth and just feel disgusting for like 48 hours straight.

Drinking is alright, have no issue there but I just have to be aware of when to cut myself off to avoid hangovers. Used to smoke weed a lot but somewhere around 25 I started getting random panic attacks while high so I had to cut back a lot. But still weed > alcohol
