    He really is. How do you not only ride, but create and drive, the zeitgeist for as long as he has without running out of ideas and repeating yourself? He's right there with Spector and Martin and Richard Perry and Moroder and Albini for defining the sound of entire eras.

    its insane how he's been able to evolve with the times, youd think at some point a max martin production in the 2010s would sound like something he did in the 90s or 00s but it never does, his stuff always sounds very of the time. which is tough to do when you're at it for that long.

    i know i'm a little late but when i re-read books i re-read chapters i know i didn't enjoy previously because i'm not about to fuck up the flow of the narrative, everything is there for a reason and it all props up the final product. also usually if i'm re-reading something it's been years so a new perspective might glean new appreciation for what the author is doing.
