Bad Boys: Ride or Die (Adil & Bilal, June 7, 2024) Movie

I'm still surprised this is coming out this summer

 

i'm with you there. almost three months without so much as a poster

 

So mad they wasted bad boys for life on the 3rd movie!!

 

i never saw the third movie, i rewatched the first two before it came out and the second one sucked, i forgot how much it wasn't good, this was a franchise that could have been left at the first one.

Yeah how can you like the Bad Boys but not like the second one?

this was average, i guess. certainly not better than "for life". a few cool action scenes (one where the least likely character is at the center of it, which really pleased my theater), but it almost feels a bit like there's a shortage of ideas. biggest example of that is they somehow made marcus even dumber than before. and rhea seehorn is given nothing, practically. but there's a number of fun moments, and i'm glad i took my bad boys-loving friend with me to this. i'd still take it over the first two, if that means anything

like the last film, it's a more coherent and fluid version of the bay style

 

Bad Boys II is a masterpiece that can’t really be matched but I’ll take another one of these

 

guess i should've made it clearer i don't really care for michael bay other than maybe a couple films
