Last time I saw Bad Books (2013) was also at Newport in Columbus. But kind of bummed that MO has avoided Cleveland (at least as a headliner) since 2011. Two years ago, my buddy e-mailed the MO merch store to ask them a question about something, and Tim responded saying something to the effect of 'we miss Cleveland, we'll be back soon'.

Two years later...

Who am I kidding, I definitely should. Bad Books is worth two PTO days.

 

I love how much they’re promoting Brother Bird. She’s incredible and deserves it and the world needs her music.

 

I didn’t, I think I fucked up though haha

 

Are we to assume that 'iii' will drop before mid-June then?

Hopefully we hear back within the next FIVE WEEKS AND ONE DAY.

 

She is absolutely incredible. She was great opening up for MO last year. Loved that Andy Prince played bass for the band.

 

At this point, the safest thing for your sanity is to assume that it’s dropping in 2023 (or 202iii if you prefer). Then you can be pleasantly surprised if it’s before that!

Besides the one I had just posted, here is my favorite track off the 5-song EP that was released last year.

 

This is my favorite, though I find her whole EP to be flawless.

 

Brother bird is amazing! Saw her in Asbury Park very recently!
