Noted. Keep 'em comin'. Current list is as follows: Specific to III What went into the decision to record the album as a three piece, and do the tour without drums/bass? What track off of III took the longest to get to its final state? Are there any alternate versions of songs off of III lying around somewhere? General They like to do cover songs here and there, wonder if there are any covers that they've attempted but scrapped after being unable to fully figure out. KD & AH have a long history of collaborating, wonder if either of them would ever release a song in their entities outside of Bad Books that was written by the other person. For ex., would MO ever be open to releasing a song written by KD? Have any BB songs turned into MO or KD songs or vice versa? How do they decide what is a BB song & what is better suited for another entity? Most Important WTF isn't Fourteen Years of Excellence on Spotify bro's?
They play Columbus almost every single year. I've seen MO/Bad Books in Columbus several times over the years. But it's harder and harder to travel to shows with wife/older kids now. I did tell my wife that MO (my favorite band) playing at BrewDog (my favorite brewery) would make for a nice birthday gift...hint, hint.
BrewDog has a hotel in its brewery, however the rooms are sold out for that weekend. I've been telling my wife I've wanted to go stay there since it opened last summer...this would have been perfect.
dang, i was going to look into Air b and b around there. Hopefully there's something reasonable that isn't too far off.
III is great. Left My Body is my initial favorite. I also like that Andy for the first time (blatantly) wrote something ‘political’. He’s made an effort to avoid those conversations publicly, but to see he’s had enough and has decided to say something - I’m proud.
Yeah, I've only seen Bad Books in Chicago... they've never hit Minnesota or Wisconsin, so it's always an event getting there as its a 5+ hour drive for me. This time I just got insanely lucky. My company has a mandatory yearly retreat and they announced the date for it less than a day after I requested PTO and bought my ticket to the show. Had I waited even for general sale, I wouldn't have been able to go.
I can't imagine how great it'd be if MO played at my favorite brewery. It might honestly be too much splendor for me to handle.
LYB is my favorite track. For the political comment, assume you’re referring to Neighborhood? Such a great track.
Yes. While it could apply to a vast number of minorities, the fact he wrote it and put it out is a huge step, I imagine, for him.
It’s still up in the air whether I can make the Jersey City show next week. If anyone wants the Fan club experience, I’ll just make the call to avoid stringing someone along. Let me know.
did you all preorder through the bad books site? i haven't gotten anything about shipping or anything really.
