What does this lyric actually mean? It's always come across as very random and out of place to me.

 

I’ve always assummed it was an inside joke with Freeman.

 

I saw Manchester and Kev tonight (with 2/5 of Manchester backing Kevin’s band) and we got no Bad Books songs during either set.

I feel the disrespect

 

Out of interest for those who have been to Q&A's, has Kevin talked at all about any upcoming solo projects?

 

Next year.

Is setlist.fm wrong or did MO just play 12 songs and not The Gold?

 

Looks right to me. They closed with it and encored with 100 Dollars

 

Looks like it's been updated. Setlist originally showed no encore and no The Gold.

 

I have no idea, just my own interpretation, but it stuck out to me (in a good way) since my first listen of METN. Hence why I drew that little guy back in school circa 2009.

That’s what they usually call I Can Barely Breathe on setlists.

 

Sucks they never play Where Have You Been? anymore...that is one of my all-time favorite live songs. So good live that it's difficult to even listen to the studio version because it just doesn't compare.

 

I remember on that tour, they did at least 12 to 15 minutes on WHYB.

It was the Say Anything tour before they had officially put any real information out about Mean Everything. This tour was so fun because they were still figuring out those songs. They would go so hard and so heavy for most of them.

I remember walking out of that show thinking the next record was gonna be In Utero.

 

I second that. They played Shake It Out at Lollapalooza 2008 and destroyed the bridge/outro. I remember wanting to know that song so badly so i could bop along with the band.

 

haven't returned much to this but army remains a beautiful song

 

This finally clicked for me last night. And it's hauntingly beautiful

Left Your Body & Supposed to Be are the key take ways from this one for me. Curious to see how this record sounds with snow on the ground.

 

I’ve tried listening to this 30 times. haven’t made it thru front to back once.
just bores me to death.
