First listen of this was alright, had a couple interruptions so I don't think that helped any haha. Made it feel a lot longer than it actually was. Some cool stuff in there though! Didn't expect some of the softer stuff, so that was a nice surprise.
The Manchester orchestra brand new all get out crowd. Needs to get introduced to this, it feels like a perfect alt rock record. Would be very surprised if this doesn't finish in my top 10 this year
I wanna listen to this but I keep forgetting and I don't want to just put it on in the background while I do other things :/ I like the differing opinions I'm reading, makes it so I don't know what to expect
Saw these guys live last night and asked Zack afterwards if there will be a vinyl pressing. He said there will be eventually- but not until this fall.
Wasn't a huge fan on first listen but it's definitely growing on me, overt 'mall emo' influences aside.
I checked it out and the first half was pretty cool but it just kind of lost me in the second half. I might give it another shot soon but there is just so much music I'm trying to keep up with and this didn't make a strong enough impression on me to really stand out.
Yeah i enjoyed this but it didnt warrant full album repeat listens like some other recent stuff, though there are some great individual tracks. I really love I Saw Your Spirit and wish more of this record was like that
the guitars on the chorus on breathe life into beauty are so fuckin simple and generic but i air guitar and head bang every time they come on
The vocal melodies of this are super weird, especially when reading along to the lyrics. Not sure how I feel about it yet. First half is cool tho, idk about the second.
