Forgot about Alexisonfire and The Felix Culpa. The latter's album felt big in the ap.net forums at the time.
Here's my re-ranking of 2010. Looks like I have a few based on other's list that I will need to check out. 2010 me would probably have put Circa Survive as #1. A few of these I discovered way after 2010 (Bad Books, Josh Ritter, Steel Train) and some of these I haven't listened to since 2010 or 2011 (mostly the bottom 10). Sufjan Stevens – Age of Adz My Chemical Romance – Danger Days The Gaslight Anthem – American Slang The National – High Violet Bad Books - Bad Books Circa Survive – Blue Sky Noise Josh Ritter – So Runs the World Away Hellogoodbye – Would It Kill You? House of Heroes – Suburba Motion City Soundtrack – My Dinosaur Life Anberlin – Dark Is The Way, Light Is A Place Steel Train – Steel Train Arcade Fire – The Suburbs Bayside – Killing Time Underoath – Ø (Disambiguation) Haste the Day - Attack of the Wolf King Fair - Disappearing World Streetlight Manifesto - 99 Songs of Revolution Vol. 1 The Wonder Years - The Upsides The Menzingers – Chamberlain Waits Neon Trees – Habits Mumford & Sons – Sigh No More Norma Jean – Meridional Showbread - Who Can Know It? Comeback Kid - Symptoms + Cures Secret & Whisper - Teenage Fantasy Gungor - Beautiful Things Ivoryline - Vessels Number One Gun - To The Secrets and Knowledge Sleeping with Sirens - With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear
I really like Number One Gun but my opinion soured a bit after their Kickstarter issues with the subsequent release. Seemed like a bunch of bands had overly ambitious crowd-funded projects around then
Yeah - Jeff Schneeweis. It took him over 3 and a half years to send any of the physical items in the kickstarter tiers for his follow-up album. If I remember correctly, the digital album came out in 2013 but the rewards for t-shirts, dvds, cds, etc. didn't actually start showing up to people until 2016. He would post an apology every so often but I think some fans started to threaten legal action after a while. It seemed like a huge mess all around. I think I contributed on a lower tier but I guess that's always the risk with crowd-funding.
there's a lot that was never fulfilled, scroll through the comments Number One Gun - This Is All We Know

oh yeah, it was a big surprise and probably their only release I really enjoyed for a long time! Nice turn for the better, at least in my eyes, seeing as I absolutely love Polyenso!
