dig the songs but I really miss getting actual music videos from this band. The first album had so many great ones.

Subbing

 

Been a minute since I listened to this band, they sound like they are taking themselves much more seriously than last I listened.

 

They kinda are but they're also doing it in a really camp way, so it's still typical gimmicky Babymetal nonsensical goodness.

 

I'm really digging the new songs, especially Light and Darkness.

 

I like this but it feels a little bit bland for them. I think "Divine Attack" and "Light and Darkness" are my two highlights on first listen. Not a big fan of Metalizm.

 

Yeah I'm a fan but I'm a tad disappointed by this. My biggest, and perhaps only, issue, is the relative abundance of English lyrics. They've never been good lyrically, obviously, but now being more actively understandable really makes it impossible to ignore. If I can get past that, this will grow on me quite a bit.

Think this is really cool instrumentally though, and still memorable melodically, though not "fun" and catchy in the same way their previous stuff is.

Edit: K I'm mostly over it now, album is dope.

 

Yeah I'm never a big fan of them using English lyrics either and there's more than ever on here.

 

I actually thought this was really good. Loved the last three songs.

 

I love this. I’ve had Believing on repeat. Catchy af.
