If Edgar has an idea and wants to do a sequel then sure, he's earned my trust as far as quality movies go.
I need to see this again asap ugh. Also a sequel? Ugh no. A prequel would make more sense. and still a no to that.
Just got out of my second viewing. It's even better the second time around. Some of the minor gripes I had after the first viewing didn't bother me at all this time. Plus, I picked up on so many of the smaller details that just heighten this thing even more.
I don't think a single day has gone by where I haven't played "Bellbottoms" on my morning commute. I like to think I'm in a car chase as I whip between lanes at 10mph during morning traffic.
I watched this last night and I was in love with it so I instantly downloaded the soundtrack. All today at work I was singing/humming B-A-B-Y and my co-workers thought I was in love with someone. I was like nah I'm just in love with a movie.
Box Office Mojo are predicting this film will drop by less than 30% this weekend compared to its opening weekend. Now obviously making a lot of money doesn't always reflect quality but I am so glad a film I love (and plenty of other people are loving as well) which is original is doing so well as it means more original films might just be given the go ahead.
Ansel Elgort is a badass in this film, his character is way different than the ones he portrays on Divergent movies and The Fault in Our Stars.
Finally gonna get around to seeing this again tomorrow. Like I said earlier in the thread, my first time was a really bad experience and I couldn't really enjoy/pay attention to the movie due to outside circumstances, but it's all been sorted out now. Basically gonna consider this my first viewing lol, I literally only remember a blur, like I watched a really long trailer
