One thing I’ve realized over the past few days is that Goodbye Lullaby, an album I’ve never spent very much time with, is actually…kind of great?

 

I need to check that one out. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to it.

Under My Skin is still pretty solid front to back.

 

Goodbye Lullaby is probably tied 3rd best for me with The Best Damn Thing with the obvious Let Go and Under My Skin being 1st and 2nd.

I listened to the first half of it today. It’s got some real jams on it. Besides “what the hell” I don’t think I’d heard anything else from Goodbye Lullaby.

 

Definitely my second favorite Avril album! Wish You Were Here and Smile are two of my favorite songs of hers.
Pretty sure Deryck Whibley produced the record too, and it was after their divorce.

 

Wonder when the album officially gets announced. Also there’s prolly going to be a deluxe version. When it first leaked genius had 17 songs which was cut to 12

Stoked! Bite Me was lit and a good return to form for her after the last two albums.

We are supposed to see her in the Netherlands next month but they're currently in lockdown and require any one entering from outside the EU to quarantine for 10 days.
