I thought so too cause I saw them repost it on Twitter fairly recently but the 18th anniversary is still a few weeks away so
She confirmed on that House of Horrors livestream that her new album is straight pop punk, with production by John Feldman and Travis Barker.
Should be a lot better than her last few albums that greatly missed the pop punk sound for me. Also after the 3rd reschedule, we are supposed to be seeing her next February.
Let’s go. It’s already felt like the year of Avril, between the Pale Waves album feeling heavily inspired by her and the Willow album featuring her on a song. Rounding it out with her best stuff since The Best Damn Thing sounds like a win to me.
That snippet took me right back to the Under My Skin days. It's been a long time since I've fully got into an album of hers so hopefully this will be the one.
