Pretty pumped for this. "Bite Me" rules and it reminds me of her first couple albums. Definitely excited for the Hoppus feature.
the clip she posted yesterday of the second single didn't really grab me as much, but it was just a clip/shitty quality/only a verse.
new song is out in the wild. bite me is better imo but the new song is another solid pop punk avril track
2 for 2 for me but yeah Bite Me is better. Feels like a return to form for Avril after Head Above Water which was a real identity crisis for her.
Oh fuck yeah! 2/2 for me as well. I really really liked this one. Short and fucking sweet. I'm so into all of this haha
I can't tell if this is happening as a cash grab or because of passion, or both, but also Bite Me is fun, so I'll check out this album
All I know is, listening to a new Avril Lavigne album that sounds like this, while on my way to the comic shop for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man series drawn by John Romita Jr & Scott Hanna, will release certain nostalgia endorphins essential to me surviving Pandemic Year Three.
Well the UK / EU tour is officially cancelled again! We got the tickets in 2019 and it's crazy to think that we won't be seeing her till mid April 2023. Sucks as the album was coming out the day before the first date of the tour which was ours.
Drip drip! I'm finishing my first listen but can already tell this is her best album since The Best Damn Thing. It actually sounds like a direct sequel to it, and feels like it could have been released in 2009 and would have slotted in perfectly between many acts of that genre on Warped Tour or something similar. It's just... a total rush, which surprises me as I hadn't cared about pop-punk in a long time. A return to form. And goddamn Cannonball is such a good opener.
