Do we think Wong made it? I'm assuming both him and Shuri did but odd not to see them showed

I was on Tumblr and all these teenage/early twenties girls are like "OMG my heart fucking SHATTERED when Bucky said "Steve". They lost each other again, etc. And and and Drax when he said "Quill" it broke my soul. It was a cinematic masterpiece" and I was just like "uh...they're coming back..."

Yeah. Didn't have time and editing might have been weird probably.

    So assuming that this weekend...

For those who have read the comics:

Assuming at where Infinity War left off, I'm 90% certain that Avengers 4 will more or less follow the plot of the Infinity Gauntlet comic, especially because the film ends with Thanos' snap and that's what kicks off the comic's plot.

I wouldn't be surprised if Adam Warlock and Nova finally show up in A4, especially considering how essential Warlock is to Infinity Gauntlet. With Captain Marvel basically coming to aide Earth from outer space it would make sense for her to bring an ally or two along, which could be characters such as Nova, Quasar, or one of the unused Guardians characters.

Man it really got me when Spiderman was there going "Please sir, I don't wanna go" to Iron Man. Felt like all the others kind of didn't have as much impact [/SPOILERS]

I think that Nova isn’t going to show up in A4 but I do think that his origin movie is pretty much set up through IW since Thanos had the Power Stone from the beginning and you know he pretty much destroyed Xandar and the Nova Corps to get it. You could start it at that point and then go forward.

That's a bummer. He's so integral to that storyline.

I really like this idea. I felt kind of slighted that we didn't get to see any of what happened to Zandar, but if we see it in the Nova origin film then that would make up for it. I hadn't thought about this idea.

Small detail but worth asking: do we see The Collector illusion turn into the actual dead body of The Collector during the Reality Stone reveal scene? It was kinda quick and the trophy cases were kinda blurry.

At least Star-Lord got the dad approval. But seriously, the end result is partially his fault for hitting Thanos like an idiot.

Oh my gosh, reading through these blocks of spoiler tags is so lame. If you don't want the movie spoiled...maybe don't go into the thread dedicated to literally nothing except talking about the movie? We do this dance with every big release, and it's dumb every time.

Anyways, I love the significance of ending this era with the original 6 in Avengers 4. However, I also don't want another movie centered on 5 white dudes and one white woman. Thank goodness we'll still have Nebula and Rhodey in the mix and gain Carol. Hopefully Wong and some Wakandans play a part next year, too.

I like that the snap damaged the gauntlet. If using that much power were easy, it'd be hard to write the sequel, in terms of both defeating Thanos and undoing the snap without undoing every bad thing ever. My guess is that the dusty deaths are undone next year in an act that destroys the stones. Maybe the soul stone's destruction also revives Gamora, as if her soul itself were trapped in there? Everything else will probably stick.

With Nebula still around, maybe she'll be part of the final victory in a way that vaguely echoes the Infinity Gauntlet miniseries. Though, another thought I can't get out of my head: There are 6 stones and 6 original Avengers. With the gauntlet damaged, what if the original 6 each end up holding a stone, and they all sacrifice themselves to undo Thanos' wreckage?

He doesn’t explain. I’m wondering what he meant by that as well. ”you’re not the only one with the curse of knowledge”

He was probably talking about Tony's vision of everyone dying. That is just my guess.

He probably did but I wouldn’t get my hopes up to see him in A4 because he is adamant about protecting the sanctum.

That's a good point about Gamora's soul in the soul stone and if its destroyed she comes back but also kind of a lame cop out

Tom Holland and Chris Hemsworth put in two stellar performances and it’s a shame they won’t get recognized for them on any level other than the fans

Maybe but Id welcome that just as Id welcome the rest. If Loki, Tony, Thor, and Cap and others are gone after 4, we have no right to complain, even if she is back.

Agreed. Also Id throw Gamora in there as well, but its too hard with a cast this big and so little time for each. I def get your sentiment but I dont think they need to get an Oscar nomination for it to be considered a stellar performance or "recognized" so to speak.

No idea but good point. I feel like he probably would have given him the stone no questions asked. Ill have to look for that on second viewing while im looking for Tobias Funke in blue makeup which is infinitely more important to me

My guess is Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Wasp/Ant-Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange (if he has Wong become the protector of the sanctum).
