I like the film but it’s a little generic for an introduction story which is what anyone who reads Doctor Strange comics should expect. The visuals and music are the best thing about it.

 

I think Tchalla opening Wakanda to the world is a pretty important plot point

The Russo Brothers Aren't Done Directing MCU Movies After AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR And AVENGERS 4

They'll probably do the next big team-up film (Avengers 5? Secret Wars?) because after doing Civil War and Avengers 3 & 4 they will have the best experience with working with an ensemble cast.

 

See this in approx. 28 hours. 12:05am showing. HYPE. I never thought, 10 years ago, that my level of nerdy addiction with comics would also become everyone elses. I commend Marvel.

Do you guys think the title of Avengers 4 will be a post credit reveal?

 

The directors have said that it won’t and that the name will be revealed later in the year. They want audiences to soak in Infinity War for a bit.

 

So Feige said that he feels that the title reveal will be pretty disappointing for fans. Probably the sheer level of hype with the secrecy raised. I know it's a spoiler to reveal it but I guess that means it may not be as "cool" an idea as originally thought.

 

My guess is Avengers: Disassembled

Avengers: Infinity Plus One War

 

I would like it if it's titled New Avengers with the new team getting together while the old team passes down the torch. I doubt the title will have anything to do with the infinity stones.

 

I feel like "New Avengers" will be saved for the inevitable Avengers film post-Infinity War/4. Like, I think 4 will end without there being a formal Avengers roster, and then we'll get some kind of threat in a future film that justifies a new generation.

 

The review embargo ends tomorrow right? Interested to get some takes!

 

Are any of the TV series officially airing or viewable in China and some other big markets? I’d imagine that’s a much bigger reason why they haven’t appeared.

 

The Netflix shows are available in any country that Netflix is available in and AoS might be on Fox International.

 

You’re probably right but I feel like the new roster will be obvious so I would like to see them together at the Avengers HQ before the end of A4

For all of you with “I think these characters can die” lists, Black Widow is now a possible candidate. I would rather see her early interactions with Hawkeye instead of Winter Solider but I would also much rather prefer a contained story that didn’t have any other familiar faces.

BLACK WIDOW Solo Movie Will Reportedly Be A Prequel; May Feature An Appearance From The Winter Soldier

 

On May 5th my favorite theater in the Cleveland area (single screen arthouse film nerd type of deal) is showing Winter Soldier followed by Civil War followed by this followed by a Russos Q&A. Russos have been vocal about how important the theater was to them before they got all big time. Super cool. Didn't have plans yet to see this and it probably wouldn't have been till middle of next week at the earliest anyway. Might just have to do this.

 

Oh holy shit that’s cool. I may do this as well, although when I just read nine and a half hours I was kind of turned off haha

 

yeah hah that will be a not insignificant stumbling block for me as well. A beer and hotdog at Happy Dog during the dinner break between the second and third films might be enough to get me through it. Maybe.

 

Can't wait for the inevitable spoilers tonight
