Is there a must-see list for MCU movies leading up to this? I’ve seen them all, but I’d like to watch 4-5 of them again to build some more hype.

 

Without seeing it, it’s hard to say what’s ESSENTIAL.

I’d throw the newest Thor and Doctor Strange into that too

 

He limited it to 4-5! It was super difficult.

 

Maybe take off Iron Man and Avengers 1 to add Strange and Black Panther based on the Wakanda set piece. To be honest, I think if you go in having a vague idea of who everyone is and what the infinity stones are, you’ll be fine. Marvel knows they’re gonna get a lot of people who have only seen a few of the movies or don’t remember a lot.

 

That's why these spoilerish posters will go out after the film.

 

I think the BP stuff in Civil War sets up enough for the Wakanda stuff.

It seems Loki being allied with Thanos is tied in here, keeping the first Avengers makes sense. BP was great but it was a personal story more than anything to do with IW.

I could see cutting Iron Man and putting in Strange though. That way all the main heroes are known before Infinity War.

Heads up. Massive spoilers leaked on Reddit earlier today and the user had evidence which the creator of the subreddit confirmed (apparently it revolves around his best friend doing CGI for action scenes). Who knows how long it will be before it gets into other Marvel subreddits.

Hey Russos, would've been really nice to have that revealed in the film, but eh, whatever, screw us I guess.

 

Hasn't Cap being essentially Nomad been confirmed for a long time? Like, that status quo was talked about not long after Civil War came out.

 

I think people imagined they would go halfway with it. I remember when the rumors first surfaced last summer and people were saying the name “Nomad” wouldn’t be mentioned in the movie and they'll just call him Steve while he shares some Nomad characteristics.

 

Nope, never been confirmed before.

I love how menacing and threatening they are making Thanos in this film. He knows he will win and is basically toying with the heroes.
