BR2049 is probably the loudest movie I’ve ever watched in a theater.

Tickets booked for the midnight release on the 26th. I know it's pretty unfair but so happy that UK still get it a day early regardless. IMAX has already sold out in my area.

We got tickets for Saturday the 28th.

I gotta admit it's a little intimidating to see Thanos gripping up Thor by the skull and making him scream in agony...like, shit man.

This is neither here nor there, but I just realized Sebastian Stan plays Blaine in Hot Tub Time Machine haha.

  8. Saw a tweet about this being Rated R? Seemed fake but what would an R-rated Avengers actually be like?

No chance this gets an r rating.

  10. DeathOrGlory

    Just a friendly reminder

Apparently the first Avengers was initially rated R because Coulson's death had a little more blood before they changed it for the PG-13. There are shows on prime time television gorier than your average R-rated action movie. The MPAA makes no sense.

Cracks me up that Marvel puts Peter Parker dead center on the poster, when Feige already confirmed his role in the film is about on-par with Civil War. Don't get me wrong, he's my favorite hero, but definitely seems a bit cash-grabby.

I don’t know about all that haha. Spidey’s been pretty much front & center in both trailers. It’s clear he’s in at least few key sequences.

I mean, that's not much different from how comic book covers often go, lol.

Only major difference is that comic book covers often look better than the interiors, but no Marvel poster has ever looked better than the movie.

Eh, I'm just basing it entirely on what Kevin Feige has said about it. If he does actually have a bigger role than Feige has let on in interviews, then I'll be really stoked

I disagree, Iron Man 3 was garbage but it had some cool-looking posters ;) lol

I can't believe this many people care about Hawkeye. He's fine, but come on.

It’s probably more that everyone else is on the poster and they left out a couple people for some reason. Why do ALLLLLL those characters but not them? There is room on the poster.

Yeah, they included Wong but not Hawkeye, one of the original 6 Avengers? Feels weird

Idk... if these movies are ever going to be able to tell coherent long term stories, they have to be okay sidelining people. Renner must have thirty minutes of total screentime across the MCU, and he’s probably not a major factor in taking down someone who can pull down a moon.

Also, I don’t understand people caring this much in general about who’s on a poster and how large they are. This isn’t Coachella, it’s not going to affect the movie. In all likelihood the person who made this poster has no idea what’s going on in the film.

I care, but that’s because Hawkeye is my favorite Marvel character in the comics and I want the MCU version to live up to that potential.
