I love this idea! It's smarter because the audience gets a bit conflicted with Deadpool 2 coming out on 5/18.

 

wow that's confident and wow I'm even more stoked than I thought possible.

 

It also gives more breathing room for Solo coming out the 25th

 

when i saw “black panther will return in avengers infinity war” i thought “yeahh i definitely cant wait until may” and then this happened a day later so youre all welcome

There’s more to that Avengers: Infinity War release date change than you realise

 

Early predictions already point to a $230 million opening. That will definitely go up closer to release.

 

Honestly, this is my most anticipated movie ever. haha

 

IDK, does Avengers 4 count or would it be grouped with Infinity War? If not, my anticipation for Avengers 4 tops this just because it’s the conclusion.

 

I kind of group them together, but 4 will immediately be my most anticipated after. Though, I will say that Captain Marvel is up there too, but there's only about a month and a half between those two.

With the date shift, I think we could end up getting the same deal next year. Right now, there's nothing even scheduled on 4/26/19.

 

IW Part II is the end of the MCU? Or just the last Avengers movie?

 

It's just the end of an era. But like, the Homecoming sequel comes out a couple months later, GOTG vol 3 the next year, etc. I'm sure they'll build to a new version of the Avengers, too.

 

Just the end of this arc. It's definitely not the end of the MCU and it might be the last for the original Avengers, but they might keep that title to keep up with the branding they've done with it.

 

Basically what the two users above me said. Some of the OG Avengers will make their last appearance and new heroes (Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Wasp, Spider-Man, etc.) will become the new focus.

 

We gotta be close to a surprise 2nd trailer drop, right?

We've only seen one trailer so far, the date changed, and the Wrinkle in Time release is tomorrow night. Feels like a good time for the dam to break as far as marketing goes.

 

Yeah.. I said earlier I don't need to see anything more but I definitely am curious as to when they'll drop a final trailer. Seems like a no-brainer between the moved up date and massive success of BP.

 

Tickets should go on sale asap.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - EW Spotlights All 23 Main Characters Across 15 Awesome New Covers

 

Yeah I feel like they’re setting up for Shuri to be the new tech guru for when Stark retires, so it def feels like there will be a “new avengers” after all this.

 

As usual, lot of bad Photoshop work throughout these covers. How the aesthetics of comic book adaptation marketing falls short so often is beyond me.

The cover with both Vision and Shuri makes me super happy, though, lol. Two of the MCU's best characters. And, this movie's Iron Man suit is definitely the best one so far. Not the best picture of the Spider-Man armor, but I think it's still my second favorite Spidey movie look (after the perfection of the ASM2 costume).
