I'll say that rewatching these Netflix shows have put that "sex scene" into perspective.

This film is already too bloated for Eternals. None of them are on Earth anyway.

So Secret Wars then?

 

I think that’s more plausible. Similar to Endgame, I expect the cast list to be shorten for most of the film with a few familiar faces filling in the gaps (I’d only expect Sersi, Phastos, or Kingo). We could get the Celestials involved in some fashion if Doom/an incursion is threatening their survival.

My opinion of the Russos and Feige is unbelievably low these days. I do not imagine this being particularly “good.”

However, Ian McKellen’s Magneto? And a whole bunch of other original X-Men movie cast members? The more I think about it, the more I’m like, shit, idk. I’m gonna have to be a sucker and see this.

Wonder who else they have in this. Obviously this isn’t everyone, but wild to drop that many people and not also throw out Halle Berry. Also very interested in seeing Shawn Ashmore’s Iceman again. And, probably some cast members from other X-movies who could be organically rolled in? (Like, fuck it, have Dafne Keen be Wolverine.)

 

I was gonna make a New Mutants joke, but why not go way deep cut and bring back Finola Hughes as Emma Frost and Jeremy Ratchford as Banshee.

 

Idk, on the New Mutants note, getting ATJ as Magik to show up if possible would work, lol.

My theory is that the plot will be a very “Time Runs Out” angle where the MCU is having an incursion with that X-Men earth from the end of The Marvels. And if so, some sort of ridiculous third arc Avengers vs X-Men sequence with a big ass cameo fest battle is likely.
