Plot outline - The movie opens with Deadpool and Wolverine fighting Tobey’s Spider-Man in his reality. The X-Men have been destroying realities using a device created by Beast. Wolverine stays behind to make sure the mission is a success. He and Tobey perish while Deadpool escapes. - Loki warns Steve that the TVA will prune the timeline he created after going back to the past following Tony’s funeral. He takes Steve, Peggy, and Jim (Steve and Peggy’s son) to Earth-828, a universe without any of their variants, so they won’t be wiped out. Before leaving, Loki gives Steve a card to contact him. - Doom warns Reed of the incoming Incursion, and they both realize it is caused by someone being in their reality who shouldn’t be there. They find Steve, and together they travel to Earth-616. The Avengers of Earth-616 agree to help them stop the Incursions. - The plan is to place massive cannons across the remaining universes. The device will, in theory, separate realities and stop the Incursions. The group splits into different teams and travels to the remaining universes. - The X-Men are hostile when a team arrives in their universe. Their strategy has been to destroy any universe that threatens their own. A battle between the Avengers and the X-Men takes place, though this is actually a small part of the film. - Steve reunites with Thor and takes him to the TVA to meet Loki. They find everyone dead, including Loki, whose heart has been ripped out. Steve puts the pieces together and confronts Doom. - Doom takes him to Latveria and reveals that he never intended to stop the Incursions. His plan to place cannons in different universes was simply meant to accelerate the incoming destruction. Now that he has Loki’s powers, he intends to recreate a single reality. - Doom’s motivation is his desire to bring his wife and child back. When Steve first went to Earth-828, Doom conducted experiments to prevent a future Incursion. The experiment killed his wife and child and left him scarred, which is why he is now trapped behind his suit and mask. To make Steve pay, he reveals one of his followers, who appears to be Peggy (it’s unclear whether this is a manipulation). He then kills Jim in front of Steve. - Thor (who had gone back to gather the heroes after what he saw at the TVA) appears in Latveria with the remaining Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men. Odin also sends soldiers from Valhalla. They all fight Doom as the final Incursion begins. - The Incursion takes place. Everyone and everything is wiped out. Only Doom is left. He chooses to resurrect some of the ‘fallen’ and wipe their memories. They all believe that Battleworld is the only reality to ever exist as Doom sits on his throne.
I like that life rafts were removed in favor of everyone dying. It adds a nice “inevitable fate” element, although; I’m sure they were simply removed so the ending wouldn’t feel like a mirror image of Infinity War.
I have a hard time swallowing that they're going to kill a child onscreen. Seems way too dark. Where did this come from?
It’s fake. People are throwing shit at the wall trying to guess the plot. Eventually someone’s going to get certain things right
No chance an in depth breakdown like that would leak. That’s pure fan fiction. I do like that Marvel have locked down leaks for Doomsday and Brand New Day. The less I know and the less I have to dodge leaks before the films release, the better.
It could be fake, could be legit. It’s creating discourse so eh The film has been in post-production for 6 months. Infinity War’s plot leaked in November 2017, Endgame’s plot leaked in May 2018. I wouldn’t be too surprised if this turns out to be (mostly) legit
