He could be a Black Panther from one of the universes that the teams travel to

 

They need to introduce a new T'Challa. Too big of a character not to bring back. They should have recast the role before PB2.

 

I think we’ve seen enough from them in the past to know that doing that won’t hand wave away anything but yes that’s most likely

 

They're absolutely bringing in new characters, at least in the background to set up for what's next

 

they have to. their grip on pop culture is falling more and more apart.
