I think the inclusion of kids is just going to make it a more personal/emotional mission for those who are trying to stop the inevitable destruction of their universe.
I’m sure there’s a good story that could be done with the original Avengers being parents, and revisiting the old while also keeping the new younger characters in the mix. About legacy and building a better world for those after you, etc. But, there’s basically no chance this will be that.
Haven't been paying attention to any of the news or rumors around this film but I love how everyone is just expecting this to be crap as if they didn't watch Endgame in theaters and cheer when Cap picked up the hammer or Thor came from the sky. I think people are trying to overcompensate their film person cred by pre-shitting on a movie they know basically nothing about (unless there's mad spoilers out there in unaware of).
No it’s because they’ve made worse movies and worse tv shows since then and overall interest in these movies is down as evidenced by box office returns and critical reception and it’s insanely transparent that this is a Hail Mary (why else would you give an actor you killed off the alleged $80 mil salary for Downey)
What does Endgame (which was built up to conclusion perfectly over years) have to do with whatever the MCU has done leading into this one lol I'm optimistic but I don't blame people for not being so. Even then I'm probably going to barely care about this Avengers team. I'm looking forward to X-Men and everyone else more tbh
Tbh I give these guys such little credit bc they don’t deserve it but I respect them bringing back Kelsey grammar instead of the obvious ploy for another star bringing back Nicholas Hoult
the jangling keys of it all just kinda gives me the ick. not enough to bounce from the mcu completely but it's like, creatively bankrupt? idk
Fuck man you really think I can remember something 6 years ago? I was on so many goddamn edibles I probably thought I was Cap myself.
Well now I'm taking my like back off of your previous post. Just gotta invalidate your good points by being a peak message board poster. Edit: JK you can keep the like.
I mean, yeah, Endgame stuff popped in the theater real big. So did stuff in No Way Home, which is a much more poorly crafted film than Endgame, so that’s not an indicator of quality. But, yes, that last Avengers movie was a very successful crowd-pleasing season finale or whatever. However, the Marvel Studios machinery has also broken down and isn’t as good at churning out fun, effective movies as it once was. (And also, even if they had maintained the same output but not changed it up, I think atrophy and apathy was inevitable. But the glut of content and greater inconsistency of it certainly didn’t help!) And, the Russos’ work away from Marvel hasn’t exactly shined, either.
what's funnier is that we are overlooking the spiderman movie in july, that could have a few more hints/post credit scenes leadin up to doomsday.
The problem is there's also clearly a huge audience down for this that gets upset when certain cameos aren't made.
it's like feige installed three more control panels so he could hit every panic button on all of them too
