IIRC, Andrew and Tobey both knew they were in a different universe and knew that the Peter of that universe was in trouble. Andrew might have known who Ned and MJ were after seeing photos/videos of them with Tom’s Peter.
That was my first thought to try to rationalize it but that's not enough lol This could make some sense

My top 5 is Guardians 3, Strange MoM, Thunderbolts, and The Marvels. Too bad their hit ratio since then hasn’t been as good as Sony’s, but hey, what can you do.
