What is going on with this movie. Couldn't they just focus on making it good instead of all this weird stuff.

 

We’re getting these teasers because they delayed the film to make it better lol

 

I have a feeling this is going to try too hard and not be good but hopefully I’m wrong

 

i mean, the movie is probably gonna be a certified pile of shit but its still gonna make $2billion which is all that matters.

It's marketing. Weird thing to complain about.

 

I just hope it's not a set up movie for Secret Wars and can operate fine on it's own.

 

Of course it is. It's like Infinity War and Endgame. Why would you assume otherwise?

 

Cause they need to focus on making a good movie and not a set up for a good movie.

 

Infinity War and Endgame are both great. I’ll wait to judge the movie until I see it a year from now. Shocking behavior, I know.

Big fan of Infinity War and End Game. Ultron is super stinky.

 

I mean, it was clearly going to be that way ever since they originally announced one as The Kang Dynasty. It wasn't ever going to be two separate stories.

And Infinity War was both set up for Endgame and a good movie, so one doesn't preclude the other.

 

It’s honestly shocking how dull that Chris Evans reveal is. Looked like a commercial for a motorcycle

I'm kidding I think but the NWH behind the scenes blew my mind with how much CGI they use lol

 

I think that’s way more movies than you(we) think. I remember a BTS, I think it was wolf of Wall Street, and soooooo much was CG

I thought Infinity War was really good while Endgame not so much, weighed down by the need to tie everything together and the fan service.

The way I see it, and maybe this was my point ultimately - they should focus on something that feels fresh instead of playing the greatest hits. I think keeping the MCU going is absolutely tough so I acknowledge they are in a tough spot creatively, and do not envy them at all, but having RDJ and Chris Evans back is not it.

So when I criticize the marketing, it's because it's not exciting, for me. It doesn't make me believe the writing will be good. I guess. But I have MCU fatigue, so to each their own.

 

That would require me to participate in this thread, which doesn’t seem like a fun time, lol.
