S1-3 of The Office are worth watching and you could just stop there.

 

I was just discussing this again with my friend and I’m still cautiously optimistic about RDJ, but Cillian Murphy would’ve been such a great choice if they were even able to snag him. I know someone already brought it up in one of these threads, but Mads Mikkelsen probably would’ve been the better choice. He would’ve been like a meet in the middle option.

 

God I love Mads Mikkelsen.

Sebastian Stan was at SDCC, they could have just cast him but we know why they didn’t

 

Using an actor who has already been in the MCU doesn't hold water as an argument anymore when they're already casting the biggest face in the series, lol.

Exactly why I said Mads would basically be like meeting in the middle. Reuse an actor for Doom, but it’s not the face of the franchise lol

What a truly beautifully shot show. I enjoy a lot of elements of it, but honestly if you removed all of those and just made me watch it on mute I'd still love that show.

 

i'm expecting deadpool to say this to doom when they first meet.

I’ve seen Chris Evans brought up a few times but Fox characters were not part of the MCU when they cast him. It’s a silly comparison.

To be fair, it's still a silly comparison since the only reason he reprised the role is because it's a love letter to the Fox films.

Downey has never been Doom before unless you count that time he auditioned for the first FF.
