we already decided pages ago that he's currently putting holes in the drywall trying to hang up pictures with it and Peggy is telling him to get a new fucking hammer
K I need help. I thought it was Age of Ultron where Tony (at least I think its tony) confronts Steve implying that Steve kind of wants to or NEEDS to keep fighting because without it he doesnt know who he is. Where the fuck is that? Am I just making that up? Its not in the wood-chopping scene as i thought it was. I cant find it in civil war either. Any help?
Is it in the conference room scene right before Bucky gets interviewed by Zemo? Steve says he wish he could turn back from a fight. Tony says he doesn’t really and Cap concedes.
YES!! thats exactly it. Thank you! That aspect of Steve thats also eluded to in Ultron with his vision of the dance I think. That concept that he really doesnt know who he is being a man from the 40s stuck in the future except a soldier. Thats all he has that makes sense so he wants the fight to keep going is my interpretation of why he wasnt worthy enough in Ultron to lift Mjolnir. Not that he could all along. I just think Mjolnir knows that (just like Thor in the first Thor) he selfishly really wants to keep fighting.
Kind of like how the people in charge now are like who gives a shit about global warming, we’ll be dead by then
I don’t know if this has been mentioned already but some more ammo for the nitpickers: So did Our Cap just go back in time to jack another shield from a Past Cap to give to Sam? Because Thanos totally destroyed his shield
My assumption was just that he went back in time and maybe either made a deal with Howard Stark to make a new one on the down low OR he got a new one made through a connection in Wakanda since he would know of its secret existence. No concrete way of knowing since we can only theorize.
not sure how much I agree but this piece has an interesting take on the movie Avengers, MCU, Game of Thrones, and the Content Endgame | MZS | Roger Ebert (could be very very mild GoT spoilers)
I also finally saw this tonight and I thought it was the absolute perfect way to end this series. Not really much to add that hasn't already been said hundreds of times but the action was great (that final battle was fucking spectacular), the comedy pretty much all worked, and the performances of course were phenomenal, particularly RDJ. Really going to miss him in this role I'll add more if I can think of it later but I hope Thor is in GOTG3
Obviously a lot of game developers got lost in the snap and people were left with what was going on when Thanos fatefully clicked his fingers...!
Korg was one of the best parts of one of the top three MCU movies hopefully he appears in many more films to come
Ragnarok is the best Thor movie. And I’m clearly an outlier, but for me, it was not mind blowing like it was for many others. Korg is fine. I have nothing bad to say about him.
Ragnarok is my 16th favorite MCU movie. Well, before Endgame. When I decide where Endgame lands it will slip Ragnarok down to 17 though.
Apparently Kraglin appeared in the final battle as well? I saw some of the Ravengers and Howard the Duck. Did anyone see Kraglin?
