That was Okoye with T’Challa and Shuri. Remember she was back in Wakanda during all that. The portal is also how she gets there.
Portman didn't, but you could tell Redford did shoot new scenes. He looked a little bit older and his hair was a bit different.
Wow good call I totally forgot about Sif. I really thought she was going to be in this since I think somebody confirmed she survived the snap. At least there’s a possibility for maybe a guardians cameo
I too wondered about this after my second viewing. The underwater earthquake line kind of breezed right by me on the first watch, but it definitely stuck out to me this time.
They’ve tried for years to get a Namor film made so maybe Universal gave them the rights back. Then again, they haven’t given up the solo Hulk film rights back either so idk.
Namor's movie rights are still the same as the Hulk's at the moment: they can't make solo Namor movies without partnering with Universal on distribution/proifts, but they can put him in other movies. My best guess is he could potentially show up as one of the villains in Black Panther 2 and then have him become a frenemy of BP/the Avengers by the end of it.
Yeah, I also thought "WOAH NAMOR" when the earthquake underwater was mentioned. Although I should I imagine it's just mentioned in case they can make a Namor film. Much like with the map at the end of IM2.
I wouldn't want a solo Namor film anyways. He rules, but he's best when played off other characters. I love his dynamic with Black Panther, Doom, Cap, X-Men, & of course the Fantastic Four. Ideally, I'd wanna see him appear in either a Fantastic Four film (but not right away; they should start w/ Annihilus), or an Avengers film w/ T'Challa. Not yet, but eventually I also would dig an Invaders film w/ Steve & Bucky, set during the Cap 1 war montage.
His last words were "I am Iron Man." I thought that was a great final thing for him to say. I also think him not saying anything post snap shows how damaged and critical the act actually was, which weighed heavier on the emotional side for me.
“One moment that was at risk of being cut was the “female Avengers” bit, which Markus and McFeely say was a point of much debate: McFEELY There was much conversation. Is that delightful or is it pandering? We went around and around on that. Ultimately we went, we like it too much. MARKUS Part of the fun of the “Avengers” movies has always been team-ups. Marvel has been amassing this huge roster of characters. You’ve got crazy aliens. You’ve got that many badass women. You’ve got three or four people in Iron Man suits.
Far From Home is starting to feel like some kind of epilogue hinting at where this all goes next. They’ve got Nick Fury in there and I’m wondering now if it ends in a similar fashion to the post credits scene after Iron Man with Fury looking to build a new team.
I understand its existence, I just think it was executed poorly. Would have been cooler if a 1v1 fight started and all the women came running in as well.
“So I just decided to watch Breaking Bad starting with the finale. Who is Walt? Why should I care about the guy being held prisoner? None of this makes sense”
Y'know, I was going to totally avoid Disney+, but with how much Netflix has been pissing me off with cancellations lately, I might be jumping on board sooner than I thought.
