It's a 3 hour movie but they don't have ten minutes to introduce Carol to the squad, it's just like hey I'm in space now with a haircut Of course Hawkeye would have a son that eats mayo on hot dogs Why isn't Peter in college I don't understad how any of it worked Why do Natasha and Wanda look so similar Where do Thanos and Hulk buy clothes Why is Rocket chill about being dunked on I hope valkyrie and Carol can still happen
Aside from being unnecessarily mean and shitty, Fat Thor did not work for me logically. Like in the movie universe, I always assumed Thor looked like that because he was the God of Thunder, not because he spent 9 hours a day in the gym and ate a shitload of protein and no carbs just in perpetuity.
He also was running around fighting people constantly, and hasn’t done it for five years except on fortnite
In the world of the movies I didn't think the characters had to worry about maintaining their physiques at all times the way the actors have to when the films are actually filming. It is a silly, minor thing really, I know. Just struck me as odd.
A show called Falcon and Winter Soldier was announced and it’s title is definitely going to changed to Captain America and Winter Soldier. It would be nice if he had a solo film but I understand why he might not due to the already busy schedule of upcoming MCU films.
Someone peed my pants. Saw this in IMAX today. Holy shit. What a ride. This was everything I could've wanted. Also the most I've ever laughed at an MCU movie. The fat Thor stuff got pretty old after a bit. Just read through like 10 pages of comments in this thread and realized how many little call backs I missed. Can't wait to see this again. Avengers theme always gets me so hyped.
Usually Clint or Barton. He was referred to as the Hawk by Selvig in Avengers. I think that’s as close as we got. He did call his daughter Hawkeye though.
Nobody cried or clapped for anything in our showing. And when it was over they immediately and quietly got up and left.
The last time I can remember the majority of a theater I was in clapping and hollering was at the beginning of The Phantom Menace when the Star Wars fanfare music kicked in. There was no clapping at the end.
