Okay, I thought about it..and agree. As cool as the character looks, Hawkeye cosplaying as a samurai and slaughtering people in Japan does come off as being pretty silly. If Hiroyuki Sanada is wasted as one of Ronin’s victims then I’ll be disappointed.
Wasn’t Thanos’ who deal about cutting the population in half because there weren’t enough resources to sustain them? If he snapped half of all living creatures, including animals, doesn’t that fuck their food supply and leave them in the same position?
It's comic book magic. Maybe the small print says "sentient life." Who cares. I don't like Thanos' motivation because making him essentially the main character, and then making him both space Hitler & an abusive father w/ no redeemable traits, is narratively poop. But, if that kinda nitpick with a character's plan's *logic* takes someone out of a movie... That person is probably watching movies wrong, lol. You say corny like it's a bad thing.
Trailer was alright, figured ahead of time that it wasn’t gonna show anything juicy. Hawkeye as Ronin was cool.
I assumed going into the trailer that very few things would be shown. If leaks are true and rumors have any ground then a lot of the film couldn’t be shown in a teaser. The trailer does feel like Avengers: Black Widow and Captain America
Surely it won’t be as simple as him discovering how to escape. Maybe Goliath and his daughter help in some way.
With so much going on in this movie, you'll think they'll dedicate a 'story' to how he escaped? Or do you think he'll simply show up at Cap's door and use dialogue to explain how he got out?
With him being stuck in the quantum realm after Janet was stuck in it for decades, I hope they show how he gets out.
