This was everything I wanted it to be. Rollercoaster of emotions, can’t think of any loose ends off the top of my head. I will miss everyone who isn’t involved anymore
Hey does anyone know where the Hell Gamora went? She just completely disappeared after hitting Quill in the balls? EDIT Unless Tony just dusted everyone who didn't belong in 2023..
Seated for this now (even though it doesn't start for another hour lol) Anyone who saw it already want to confirm/deny whether this has any post/mid-credits scenes or not? thanks
Yeah I figured that based on him looking at her photo in the ship, it was just weird the movie didn't even show her sneaking away to some unknown place and wasn't sure if I missed something. Where would she have found a ship to leave Earth? Weren't Thanos' ships dusted?
All I can think of really is that she's still on Earth somewhere or asked Strange to portal her away lol
I think I may have noticed a continuity error. After Ant-man and the wasp get to the van in the final battle, the camera cuts to someone else and you can see Ant-man in his giant form holding up a building in the back ground. Doesnt detract or anything because CAP WITH THE HAMMER.
I still dont really understand the point of the captain marvel movie/character... unless it's just to set up future movies. Or, honestly, for marvel to cover their ass and have one woman superhero movie
Well, what's the point of introducing any new Marvel movie/character? They don't need a huge part in Avengers to be fun films about superheros. I'd argue that I like many of the standalone superhero flicks over the Avengers movies. I'd also argue that she was necessary to destroy that ship in the final battle in Endgame. I can't think of other Avengers with the power to do that so easily. But yeah, I mean, people's contracts do end and Marvel needs to continue to build their universe to stay successful.
Yeah bad call with the PTSD/fat jokes with Thor. Probably shouldn't have laughed, but I will admit the Lebowski joke got me.
Thor being fat was funny because it’s the opposite of what we’ve always known him as. It’s not like people laughed because “hahaha fat people”, it’s because it was Thor. There’s a difference.
Black Captain America is going to make racists upset. I hope he gets a solo movie. Seeing Sam in Ant Man is a big MCU highlight for me.
He’ll get a film after his show with Winter Soldier, but with how packed the next few years are, it might not be for a while.
Does Sam Wilson become Cap in the comics? And if so, does he gain super powers at some point so that his power is comparable to Rogers? I guess I would have expected Winter Soldier to take the mantle since he also has a super soldier serum to enhance him
Not my favorite but thought it was good for what it had to be. So many deus ex machina/unearned moments but I guess that kind of has to happen when you have a story that spans 22 movies or whatever it is
He becomes Captain America in the comics but he never gains additional super powers to put him on par with Steve.
