mostly just the cliff imagery, Thor in the sunglasses, etc. not like a note for note homage but a nice lil nod
im seeing it for a 3rd time tonight cant wait to see the reactions of all the people seeing it for the first time should be a fun time people watching
I can't wait to go again but god knows when an ideal time would be at this point - or if I can get in anywhere.
I was glad that cap cut his hair during the five year timeskip because the clean-shaven look w the longer hair did not... look good on my #1 guy evans imo
This movie is already breaking records all around the world. Largest opening day for any movie ever in the UK.
The entire theater sitting in crushed silence as Stark died was really powerful. I want to see it again in theaters just so that I can anticipate the audience reactions to all of the major events in the movie.
I would love to have my second viewing in IMAX 2D. I'll wait a week or two and then find one to go to.
Yeah, it was reminiscent of the ending of Infinity War where there were a few gasps but sheer silence afterwards hoping for another twist. It was executed perfectly though.
This was my favorite marvel movie...Holy Crap. I can't wait to see it again. Just a complete epic conclusion. My favorite part was cap fighting himself. "I can do this all day...." "yea, I know" oh and cap wielding the hammer.
That got a few laughs! I was kinda hoping he would say it whilst fighting Thanos at the end but I was still satisfied with him wielding Mjolnir, a moment we'd been waiting on since Ultron!
Saw this last night. There's so much I want to say about this movie, but I don't even know how to say it. Such an epic conclusion to an 11 year story. I need to see again immediately.
- This was definitely the best use of Hawkeye I've ever seen. He contributed so much to the story, yet it was made clear when he was in over his head in terms of his lack of powers. Easily the best I've seen him on screen. - The use of Captain Marvel in this movie was perfect. She appeared just at the right time. - It took some huge guts to give us the whole Thor storyline. - I honestly have no idea where the MCU is going to go from here. Is Sam the new leader of the Avengers? Does Loki stealing the Tesseract in 2014 change things for his character? How the hell is Peter back in school with all of his friends when five years have passed? How much does Cap living his life with Peggy change things, considering that she got married to someone else pre-Endgame?
Not reading anything in this thread but I'm jealous of my sister because she showed up to work this morning and her boss gave the whole office 10:30am tickets to see this. I'm trying to go Tuesday.
