I enjoyed that, but it felt way more forced this time around compared to Infinity War. IDK if it's just me but it felt really contrived a little distracting.
I liked the female charge. But it did feel a little redundant of the one in Infinity War. But since Nat was not here for this one, it’s probably partially why it happened in IW. Obviously this one was on a far bigger scale. If I had to choose to only keep one, it would be this one. But it was one of Nat’s only real moments in IW, so I’m glad it happened there, too.
yeah I'm gonna have to agree that the all female charge felt like a cynical moment contrived for Marvel to get points for surface level feminism despite being the same franchise that gave us 300 "wow aunt may is so hot" jokes
Like it was a cool moment, but I'm maybe too jaded I guess it just felt like "ok, yeah let's throw this in there"
I'm not bothered by the idea of the moment, it's more the execution Again, I know I'm in the minority on this, but it was one of the moment where the fan service didn't hit the mark for me personally
No one here seems that bothered by it. My comment was meant for the kind of psychos that buy action figures to cut them apart. You know guys like that were upset and that makes me smile.
Which scene was the 4 minutes that leaked? Glad I avoided it all now, but very curious if it would really have ruined the experience for me.
I would have agreed on my first watch but second time around I really caught the "I'm gonna miss you, Cap" line. there's just so much subtext in that one line, Bucky clearly knowing that Cap is not gonna be coming back and being happy that he's gonna live the life he deserved no matter how sad it is for the people in the present. Honestly Sebastian Stan's delivery of that one line is the most emotional moment of this movie for me
It was the one with Iron Man snapping his fingers if I remember correctly. I can't actually remember the leaked video! Yeah, when I watched it again I caught the "You're taking all the stupid with you" and seen Cap's face, you could tell that it was truly heartfelt. Credit to all the actors in this movie, they aren't bad actors but they really upped their game here. RDJ's execution when he first came back to the compound and was freaking out at Cap was brilliant.
dunno if it was mentioned yet but fat "Lebowski" Thor drunkenly explaining the plot of Thor: The Dark World while the other Avengers look on confused was a personal highlight
it was a perfect use of his comedic gifts while also making his goofy nature in this one part of his p tragic arc
I loved the tone of this movie. Infinity War was pretty much Thanos' movie. It told his story and why he did what he did. Endgame was the OG Avengers culmination. It wrapped up their story and provided next steps for the new set of superheroes.
I really liked the short Captain Marvel and Thanos fight. The moment he head-butted her and it didn't do anything so he grabbed the power stone and punched her to send her flying.
it's such an easy joke but Rudd yelling HOT TUB TIME MACHINE was funnier than anything else in this movie to me
