Saw it yesterday afternoon and loved it. Teared up but was also beaming when Cap was the last man standing and then all the others appeared and he said "Avengers... assemble". Loved that. Teared up but was also beaming when Captain Marvel and the assembled women took the gauntlet from Spider-Man - I wanted to shout and cheer. What a moment! Teared up when Tony died. I thought he might but didn't expect that. Definitely didn't expect Black Widow to die!
Let's just take a moment to honour the true hero of this film though... that freaking rat! If that rat hadn't accidentally rescued Ant-Man from the Quantum Realm then nothing else would have happened. Ha!
Who from Community is in it? Haven't seen this yet (don't care about spoilers in case anyone wants to get on my case lol)
Cap picking up Mjolnir was a HOLY SHIT moment for me and the whole theater i can't wait to see it again and i'm so fucking happy we finally got the Avengers Assemble moment. if ever there was a time for it, it was there ALSO, i'm surprised the shield got broken!! how was Thanos' sword strong enough to do that?
I was just thinking that this is maybe the only major comic book movie/blockbuster to completely with reckon with finality, things ending etc. I still do have my problems with it but damn let's just appreciate there will never be another movie quite like this one again
my fav part is when cap does a pikachu down b on thanos movie was fantastic. wasn’t expecting that at all.
The “I am inevitable.” / “I am Iron Man.” exchange was my favorite part. Just such a perfect culmination of 11 years of movies.
Vibranium is the strongest metal in the world. The universe? Obviously not! Plus Thanos is a strong fucker anyway, even without the stones.
all the epic deaths and sad stuff in this movie but "on your left" is the line that outright got me tearing up
My only thought is that old Steve time traveled back from that reality to his original one. Banner does say something like , “he over shot his time.” What he saw could be old man Steve coming back a little later for them, but decades later for Steve. Banner does say for Steve it will be as long as it takes and for them 5 seconds. But Steve came back 10 seconds later I guess due to the change in plans.
I want a ~90-minute mockumentary-style movie about Valkyrie, Korg, and Miek trying to improve New Asgard and dealing with mundane town-related issues. It’s so perfectly set up, Taika has to make this for Phase Four.
